Are Regal Partners (RPL) and IDP Education (IEL) a reasonable entry point ?

Thanks James in advance for your input to my queries. Base on Regal Partners announcement on 3.7.25 , current estimate at least 35 millions in performance fees revenue, is RPL a reasonable entry point now ? Is IEL oversold and the business model is still sound ?

Hi Yen,

Regal Partners (RPL): We discussed fellow fund managers this week, we like the sector including RPL which looks very good around $2.50. The price has this week broken out, and we remain bullish.
IDP Education (IEL): There’s a lot of bad news built into the IEL share price as we discussed in June, while the stock is now on our radar around $4 it still feels a touch early amid continued uncertainty on global immigration and trade policy. However , it was interesting to see a large line of stock transact recently in a’buyer led’ deal i.e. they paid over market price to get set. If it can come out the other side it will be a far leaner more efficient beast, and will have great leverage to a rebound in student numbers. This is certainly on our rader as an unloved turnaround opportunity.

Weekend Q&A: The ASX200 closes above 8600 for the first time

The ASX200 advanced another 1% last week, closing above the psychological 8600 level for the first time. The healthcare, real estate, and materials sectors all closed up around 3%, while the financial sector was the weakest over the five days, closing down 0.7%. For the market to extend the recent gains, it will need to shrug off high valuations and lack of earnings growth, although, as we saw last week, the resources stocks can do some of the heavy lifting after experiencing a tough 18 months.
