What does MM think of Meta, Amzn, Goog, Msft & Alibaba?

That’s obviously 5 very different companies even though they are all dominant players in the tech space hence I have looked at them each individually but overall we like the sector into Christmas but as we’ve seen both locally and o/s of late not all ships are floating as one, arguably a good argument for an ETF to gain large US listed tech exposure:

• Meta Platforms (META US) – was hammered over 24% on Thursday night after delivering a very disappointing market update, it remains “too hard in our opinion”.
• Amazon (AMZN US) – Again delivered a disappointing update on Thursday, this time after market, we like the risk / reward back into new 2022 lows under $US100.
• Alphabet (GOOGL US) – we like the stock into current weakness around $US90.
• Microsoft (MSFT US) -we like the stock into fresh 2022 lows around $US200.
• Alibaba (BABA US) – Feels like a good “trade” around $US65 but its volatility is scary.
