Thoughts on Woodside (WDS) and Paladin (PDN) please

Two stocks from the Energy Sector but obviously with very different product mixes, we actually hold both but in different portfolios:

• Woodside Energy (WDS) $34.56 – we hold this in our Flagship Growth Portfolio, while the oil (-45%) and gas (-80%) prices have been hammered from their 2022 highs WDS held up well and we remain mildly bullish looking for a test of $40 when its respective commodities finally bounce NB it reports on Monday which could easily influence our outlook. We are also becoming more positive on Santos (STO) after a tough year price wise.
• Paladin (PDS) 73.75c – we hold this uranium explorer/miner in our Emerging Companies Portfolio with an “Active” status which means we are happy buyers at current levels i.e. ~74c on Friday afternoon. However, both PDN and the uranium sector is a volatile space which we like but remain keen to keep some ammunition to accumulate into aggressive dips which have occurred regularly over the last 18-months i.e. another dip towards 65c would look very compelling from a risk/reward perspective.
