Question asked

When a stock is not marked ‘Active’

Hi,

I've noticed MND is no longer marked as "active" in the Growth Portfolio.  Does that mean you no longer consider it a buy? Thanks again for all your work on the site and newsletter, it's without a doubt the best value add compared to lots of other subscription services for retail investors like myself.

Cheers

Josh

Answer

Hi Josh,

Thanks Josh we really appreciate the feedback. Yes, when not marked as “active” it means we are less convinced short term – it’s a hold not a buy. MND has margin pressure, mainly around staff, and I don’t think that will subside soon. While we like it, we still hold it, we may use it as a funding vehicle when we next buy something moving forward.
