Titomic Pty Ltd (ASX: TTT) move to the US Market

I've been a patient holder of TTT with very little upside in the past few years. The board seems to be doing the right thing with various senior defence personnel appointed to the board in the USA and Europe. They are relocating the headquarters to the USA and are proposing shareholders will be given a 1 new share for every 25 existing shares in the new entity via a CDI. Do you think the proposed changes will impact share price in any way and do you think they have any tangible prospects of a substantial share price rerating?

Answer

Hi Sean,

For subscribers not familiar with Titomic (TTT),  it’s a ~$350mn Australian advanced manufacturing company that uses its proprietary cold-spray metal 3D printing technology to produce industrial, aerospace and defence components at scale. From a share price perspective, it’s still trading at the same levels as it was 5-years ago, but it has enjoyed a resurgence, albeit from very low levels since 2023, along with much of the defence sector.

The company generated $9.4mn in revenue in FY25 which is forecast to ramp up to $20mn in FY26, and ~$59mn in FY27. However, financially the risks are real, at its current trajectory, revenue maybe growing strongly but costs are growing faster, profitability is likely 3-5 years away at minimum, and only if defence contract wins materialise at scale.

As you said TTT is planning a US redomicile as its defence market focus grows, a strategic move to get closer to the Pentagon’s procurement budget, which dwarfs anything available in Australia.

We believe TTT is an exciting technology story, and although the financials are still very early stage this is arguably the best its looked in years.
