Updated thoughts on the Nitro takeover please

Hey Team, MM sold out of Nitro( NTO) from the Emerging Companies Portfolio some time ago. For those still holding, would you please provide your thoughts on the current takeover offer(s). Thanks

Hi Bradley,

There are 6 offers that you quoted (and we didn’t include here given space), however by definition, the value in each is similar on the face of it, but may suit some individuals differently, and as such, we are not able to provide advice on this.

In general terms, we think the deal will complete which is the main consideration for investors overall.

The Match Out: ASX ekes out small gain on bank buying, Hardies hit on major acquisition.

The market opened down ~20pts before U.S futures kicked in mid-morning spurring a small rally to ~7935 before sitting in a 10-point trading range for the remainder of the day. A negative reaction to the blockbuster acquisition by James Hardie (JHX) highlighted a continued aversion to the U.S early on, though our market was quickly buoyed by a flight to financials, with banks enjoying a good start to the week.
