Greetings James, Are you considering a semi conductor ETF/stock? With concern about China/Taiwan are there any ex-Taiwan semiconductor stocks that you may recommend? What is your view of semiconductors and when you might consider them as a buy. Thx so much, Bob
Hi Bob,
I would be inclined to keep it simple “KISS”, the ASX listed ETFS Semiconductor ETF (SEMI) tracks the semiconductor 30 index, its a small $83m ETF but after correcting almost 20% the risk / reward is becoming interesting but there are no signs of a bottom yet hence I would be inclined to keep some $$ ammunition to average into any further weakness.
Note MM is unlikely to be a buyer at this stage.
