We have actually weighed up Goodman Group (GMG) and NEXTDC (NXT) for data centre exposure a number of times through 2024. Our view has remained pretty consistent throughout hence we’ve stayed long GMG since October, not considering taking profit even as it posted fresh all-time highs.
- We like both NXT and GMG for data centre exposure although we wouldn’t be chasing into current strength.
- Our preference has been Greg Goodman’s (GMG) which we hold in our Active Growth Portfolio.
NB Its not a perfect science with NXT & GMG being very different businesses but over the last 6-months their share prices have been highly correlated.
