I am holder of MFG from higher levels. Would you accumulate or dollar cost average sub $9 into current weakness following what I thought was a pretty positive result in August? Would you envisage further positive dividend announcements following their special in August? With thanks, Bernie
Hi Bernie,
We are long MFG in both of our Flagship Growth Portfolio and Active Income Portfolio, due to the high Beta (volatility) of the stock we have no plans to increase our 4% position in either portfolio. While we like the stock here, that is the highest weighting we will go to. We don’t anticipate further dividend news in 2023, however other capital management initiatives are a possibility.
