US big tech dragged US equities higher overnight with the NASDAQ registering fresh all-time highs while the broad based S&P500 continues to edge closer to its equivalent milestone. It was a volatile session as short-term traders try and 2nd guess what Fridays option expiry will deliver, at the moment investors are clearly optimistic as they vote that strong consumer demand will trump supply issues and rising inflation.
