Fund Managers have enjoyed equity strength recently, so how can we capitalise on their gains?

Profitability has been strong across the diversified financial sector, with most fund managers enjoying appreciating FUM (funds under management) going into the second half of 2014. Also, the MSCI World equities Index in $A terms rose 18.5% in the six months to December 31 whilst the ASX/S&P 300 index rose 14.0%.After years of redemptions as retail investors sought the safety of term deposits, funds flow has turned positive for many managers, helping profitability. With the majority of expensive regulatory changes likely behind us, I have looked at 5 stocks in this improving sector of varying market size.
