Business Summary

Aberdeen Global Premier Properties Fund is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek high current income and capital appreciation. The Fund may invest up to 35% of its managed assets in securities of issuers located in emerging markets. The Fund may invest in convertible securities, such as fixed income securities that may be exchanged or converted. Under normal circumstances, the Fund expects to invest between 20% and 50% of its managed assets in securities of issuers located in foreign countries, concentrating on those which are principally engaged in the real estate industry, real estate financing or which control significant real estate assets. The Fund may invest in foreign securities, including direct investments in securities of foreign issuers and investments in depository receipts.
