In this instance, I wouldn’t be as concerned about the ownership structure of this electric vehicle manufacturer, China have a way of piggy backing off US innovation and it seems NIO has done this well so far in the EV space as the stock has rallied 6x in just 6-months. However, this is one stock where I feel the risks are now mounting to the downside as the extrapolations of the future growth in electric vehicles appears built into the price. If I was long this stock this would be an example of holding I would be seriously considering trimming.
MM is neutral NIO at best
