It’s only Monday, so things may have changed. So, Gold Fields successfully took Gold Road Resources very recently and now they’ve made what I imagine to be just an opening bid for Northern Star. Do you think they’ll pursue this and would it potentially be a good deal for NST shareholders?

Fair Isaac Corporation (NYSE: FICO)

What’s your thoughts on Fair Isaac Corp in the US after the most recent share price fall? Has the market overreacted to the likely loss of income or is this more of a falling knife case? From what I can tell most brokers are still bullish (based on the current depressed share price), however not sure if they are just waiting to see how profit is affected before changing price targets. Do you see this as a good opportunity to start a position or would you stay away until the next quarterly report/ more information was available?

What’s the catalyst going to be?

Morning Gents, it’s Broken Record here again.
I’m still watching commodities and precious metals being smashed. Uranium is in the doldrums just ahead of what is supposed to be the start of a strong contracting season. Yet all of this is still being talked up with huge targets supposedly being reached before Christmas. The market doesn’t seem to be convinced. What is the catalyst everyone seems to be waiting for to break this downtrend?

The Metrics saga

Hi

How much reputational damage do you think Metrics and their listed entities will suffer because of the ongoing saga with getting their accounts signed off by their auditors? The shares are still suspended as I write this after the close on Thursday and it doesn’t look like they’re any closer to a resolution of the problem.

Do you expect that the shares will be hammered when they are allowed to trade again or is most of the bad news already accounted for in the share price?

Global Lithium Resources (ASX: GL1)

Hi James and Team
Your view on Global Lithium’s SID with Titan to be acquired for cash consideration of A$1.15. Do you expect the deal to go through? The share price reached $1.08 on the announcement. Currently 98c. Would you wait for the transaction to complete around Jan 2027 or exit earlier?

HUB24 Ltd (ASX: HUB) and Netwealth Group (ASX: NWL)

To the MM Team,

My question relates to HUB. I know you purchased HUB @ $82 about 3 months ago so I guess you like the company.

If you did not own HUB would you consider building a position at current prices around $60-63?

Then following on from that if you were to look at a platform stock which would be your preference NWL or HUB?

Thanks for the great insights, a MM subscription is better than any sleeping pill that I know.
