Question asked

What happens to VUK?

Hi I have just returned from a 6 week break and find VUK is no longer listed and I am unable to buy or sell. Have I missed something? Thanks for your help with my investing

Answer

Hi Richard, hope you had a wonderful trip.

Virgin Money (VUK) was acquired by UK building society Nationwide for $5.5bn, which equated to GBP2.20 per share, their shares stopped trading on the ASX on the 25th of September.

  • From the ASX announcement we can see shareholders will receive their money in the next fortnight either by cheque or bank deposit depending what has been nominated.
