Growthpoint (GOZ) has paid an annual dividend ~20c over the last 4-years which provides with confidence that it can achieve its forecast yield in excess of 8% in the coming years. You can actually see the market consensus forecast for dividends on the Market Matters Website – under the forecasts tab on the company page as shown below. With GOZ however, we are also conscious of the stocks 50% decline since early 2022. We like the REIT space but high yielding stocks that deliver capital losses are rarely on our “Hitlists”. We suspect this is due to falling earnings, which can also be seen in GOZ‘s financials on the MM Site – this is not one for MM.
