    Upcoming New Hope (NHC) dividends

    Hi MM, Appreciate the weekend Q&A and find them very useful. What do you anticipate the future dividends will be for NHC for 2024 and 2025? The Refinitiv data you have suggests 38c for 2024 (implying Oct 2024 div of 21c) and 38c for 2025.

    Hi Peter,

    Bloomberg is forecasting NHC to a pay a dividend of 51c in 2025 and 51c in 2026, with a 21c dividend in October 2024, so they align.

    • We are looking for NHC to yield ~6.5% in 2025 but its going to be very dependent on the price of thermal coal.
    • MM is long NHC for yield in our Active Income Portfolio but it’s a relatively small 4% position.
