Question asked

ETFs for smaller timeframes

Are there any ETFs for funds that may need to be liquidated over shorter timeframes, E.g. <2 years, <5 years? Could the Market Matters balanced ETF also be an option for this?

Answer

Hi Chris,

The general notion is that equities should be approached with a longer time frame in mind, i.e. greater than 3 years, while less volatile asset classes like bonds and cash are typically more secure for shorter time frames. Balanced portfolios like the MM Core ETF Portfolio, should deliver more predictable returns over medium time periods.
