Thoughts on silver
Hey team, I was reading a CNBC article stating that silver often follows gold in the cycle. Do you agree with this assertion and what would be your preferred pick to gain exposure? Thanks

Silver does indeed follow gold closely over the medium term as the chart below illustrates however its not the easiest commodity to get exposure to on the ASX. A couple of examples are listed below, although we would be inclined to KISS and buy the ETF if our view was purely on silver itself:
- Silver Mines (SVL) is an advanced-stage silver exploration and development company focused on its Bowdens silver project located in Central New South Wales.
- Adriatic Metals (ADT) is a precious and base metals developer working to advance its mining assets in South-Central Europe
- The ASX listed Physical Silver ETF (ETPMAG) tracks the silver price closely, attracts mgt. fees of 0.49% pa and importantly is liquid.
