Thoughts on CWP, DDR and RPG please

Hi , I have these stocks and wonder what your view on them are? Buy , hold , sell? While I think the reporting was just ok, they certainly are not shooting the lights out. I had them before I joined MM, And I am slowly getting my portfolio to be close to your's. BTW I enjoyed your last webcast , good to see you are realistic enough to know Coal and gas are here to stay for a few more years yet and have not joined the sheep, especially seeing all the new coal plants being built around the world, Thanks also for this it is great having a reliable Q& A .

Thanks for the thanks!

Certainly 3 stocks that we don’t discuss on a regular basis hence we will rely on technical in places, remembering something we have been considering a few times this week “if we wouldn’t buy/average it here should we own it?”.

Cedar Woods properties Ltd ( CWP) $5.21 – this $428mn real estate development company almost “trades on appointment” its so thinly traded, we’re neutral around $5 as the stock lacks no clear direction.

Dicker Data (DDR) $8.24 -This hardware & software wholesaler has endured a tough few years but it does look to be improving operationally, technically we could buy around $8 leaving room to average closer to $7 if the downtrend continues but it’s not on our menu.

Raptis Group Ltd (RPG) 0.023c – we see no reason to be excited about this $3.5mn property investment & development business as the stocks bounced around current levels for the last few years.

Weekend Q&A: The ASX goes into holding pattern ahead of the EOFY

The ASX200 finished last week down 0.5% in a lacklustre period on the index level that was characterised by tight ranges with an overall net downside bias as the proverbial “Can” was kicked down the road in the Israel-Iran conflict. The ongoing uncertainty in the Middle East helped the energy sector advance by +5.3%, while the materials sector was the standout loser, driven by gold and iron ore names. Elsewhere, it felt like we were starting to see early signs of jockeying for the tax man and book ruling off into the EOFY.

The Match Out: ASX dips then bounces as Trump delays U.S involvement in the Middle East

It was a mixed day on the ASX today with half the main board higher/lower with the banks and materials sectors doing some damage early but the buy the dip mentality well and truly in play as we saw a significant grind higher through the session amounting to a +43pt move from the low of the day to the close.
