    Hi Paul,

    Sydney based coal miner Yancoal  Australia Ltd (YAL) now has a market cap of $6.6bn, about 20% larger than the closely followed Whitehaven Coal (WHC). The stock is now 62.2% owned by Yanzhou Coal Mining, this is a stock that’s in the too hard basket for MM, as said last year we are happy to leave this one to the politicians and bankers.

    However, technically,  we like the risk/reward towards YAL around 475, or 5% below its price at Friday lunchtime.
