    Dear James, for those looking to add International stocks, what are your top three, or so choices today? Cheers, Nick

    Hi Nick,

    A really tough one as global equities knock on the door of all-time highs but at current prices I would say Microsoft (MSFT US) for long-term quality, Alibaba (BABA US) as a China recovery play and Barrick Gold (GOLD US) looking for at least a 25% recovery in line with our positive outlook towards precious metals.

    NB a quick 5-10% drop and I would probably move towards Exxon Mobil (XOM US) or Wells Fargo (WFC US) at the expense of BABA & / or GOLD but “what ifs” are always on the table in investing.
