China coughs and the world catches a cold, led by Australia and Canada!

The ASX200 clawed most of yesterday’s losses, closing 54 points higher at 5317.

Where do we put our hand up to buy the big supermarkets?

It was a sea of red today, with the ASX 200 erasing all but 11 points of its gains for 2014, closing down 70 points at 5,363.

It was a quiet and choppy session again today, with the ASX 200 closing 17 points higher at 5,433.

The “yield play / carry trade” is unwinding hard as predicted, do we panic or buy?

It was a choppy session today with theASX200 closing 8 points higher to 5,416, after trading 34 points lower intraday. We now see a consolidation is due for the next 3 days, prior to further risk on the downside.

The Australian market has corrected over 4%, what stocks do we like?

The ASX 200 sold off from the start of the session, closing down 38 points after touching 5,399. Quite the opposite from the US markets overnight and the Hong Kong Futures today which are currently up 226 points (+0.9%) at 24,408 embracing the Chinese stimulus.
