LIC caters for the future as it offers affordable resort style living for people in their 50’s and older, growing old gracefully and having fun sounds appealing! The stock has soared since COVID to already become a $2.4bn success story. The business model makes sense and is clearly gaining traction – the over 50‘s sell their home to release equity before utilising a land lease model through LIC who themselves build, own and operate the land lease communities, as our population ages the growth pathway is evident and we like the stock into dips.
