Objective and strategy

The investment seeks investment results that correspond (before fees and expenses) generally to the price and distribution rate (total return) performance of the Tortoise North American Pipeline IndexSM (the "underlying index"). The fund will normally invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in the types of securities suggested by its name. The underlying index is a float adjusted, capitalization weighted index of pipeline companies that are organized and have their principal place of business in the United States or Canada. The fund is non-diversified.
