Objective and strategy
The investment seeks to track the total return performance, before fees and expenses, of the Bloomberg U.S. 1000 Value composed of large- and mid-capitalization U.S. equity securities that exhibit value characteristics. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of value companies. The fund will concentrate its investments (i.e., hold 25% or more of its total assets) in a particular industry or group of industries to approximately the same extent that the index is concentrated.
