Cal-Maine Foods Inc is an egg company in the U.S. Its shell egg portfolio includes conventional, specialty, cage-free, nutritionally enhanced, organic, brown, pasture-raised, and free-range eggs. The Company operates through the Conventional Shell Eggs, Specialty Shell Eggs and Prepared Foods segments, with Conventional Shell Eggs generating maximum revenue. The Conventional Shell Eggs segment consists mainly of the production, grading, packaging, marketing and distribution of conventional shell eggs, including Sunups and Sunny Meadow. The Company sells its products to grocery store chains, club stores, independent supermarkets, and foodservice distributors serving restaurants, convenience stores, healthcare and education facilities, and hotels throughout the U.S.
