Afternoon Report Friday 11 July 2014
The ASX 200 closed firmly, up 22 points despite the weakness seen in the European region overnight.
The banking sector had a stellar close, with CBA closing up 0.5% to $81.23 and National Australia Bank (NAB) up 0.8% to $33.67.
Syrah Resources (SYR) resumed trading today, closing up another 9.1% to $5.99.
This unusual rally still leaves us bearish at present with the US and European Indices – Please watch out for the Hickman Report tomorrow.
