Copper and gold miner SFR has played the ugly duckling role when compared to OZ Minerals (OZL) post COVID and especially during the recent correction i.e. SFR -37% and OZL -27%. Hence if it underperformed OZL on both the way up and now down we see no reason to take on what in our opinion is a lower quality business during these uncertain times – MM can see another 10% upside in SFR from the $5.50 area but we prefer OZL in the Copper space.
