EVN has endured a significant fall from grace over the last 12-months with the stock down -42% while the ASX has continued to rally, its been a pretty rocky time for the whole gold sector but EVN has stood out over the last fortnight following some broker downgrades plus the announcement that they will purchase some assets from Northern Start (NST) which required a $400m institutional capital raise at $3.85.
