After market yesterday we saw the announcement that US heavyweight in the M&A space TPG had acquired a 5.3% in waste management business CWY. Importantly this is was not purchased by the same part of the company that’s recently bid for SmartGroup (SIQ) hence while we believe it’s a positive another consortium bid is not necessarily on the cards.
MM is neutral to bullish CWY
