The “Aussie” has weakened noticeably over the last fortnight as it slowly loses its tailwind from soaring commodity prices which is not being helped by Chinas current response to COVID. When we consider our short-term stance on commodities and the $US it’s now hard to become particularly excited towards the $A in the 70c region although our longer term outlook is still encouraging.
