AMP rallied over 9% yesterday following the sale of its 10% stake in Resolution Life for $524m, as the company completes its asset sales the once proud and admired financial services player will have a strong balance sheet putting it in a solid position to rebuild and seek fresh direction– we are very keen on AMP under $1.20 from a risk / reward perspective primarily because we feel the stocks cheap with the copious amounts of bad news already built into its price.
