We mentioned AMP yesterday with one eye on incoming Chairman Patrick Snowball, a solid operator at Suncorp (SUN) and my feeling is if he cannot unlock some vale in this financial dinosaur nobody can. As we’ve enjoyed with Whitehaven Coals (WHC) almost tripling since May when these heavily out of favour stocks bounce it can be a sharp move as by definition many fund managers find themselves underweight, or even completely out of the stock. I can see AMP rallying by 50% far easier than halving which in itself is food for thought as a small aggressive play.
MM likes AMP especially from a risk / reward basis
